Persnickety Scarlett

So my band, Scarlett as I lovingly call her sometimes, is being very, very persnickety lately.  I have not been able to eat a meal in the past 4-5 days without some of it coming back up.  WTH?  I have tried soft stuff, I have tried liquids and I can't keep it down.  I have not been able to eat breakfast for a while now so I don't even try, but lunch and dinner are a no go.  I am getting some good weight loss out of it though!  If it keeps up I will see the doctor, but for right now I'm ok with it.

My grandparents are still here and we are having a great time!  Mamaw has not been cooking as much this trip, so that is good and bad.  I love her cooking but it's not good for you!!  Tonight we are going out to eat at some kind of fish restaurant.  If you don't know already, I HATE seafood.  It is disgusting to me, except calamari.  I will eat that, but nothing else I tell you!!  I hope they have some kind of fish free salad or chicken.

I can't believe Chicago is only  days away!!  I am so excited.  I have already typed out my packing list and some things I want to do in Chitown.  I think Kristen and I may have dinner this week and I am sure we will talk about it!!  I can't wait to meet you sweet, wonderful women!!

  1. I know you said you tried liquids, but is anything staying down? Have you tried all liquids for 24 hours? That's what I often have to do - I swell badly.

Hang in there! And good luck tonight with eating!

  4. I figured this one out..eventually...well I think so anyway. I discovered I was eating too much and that is why some was coming back up. Try dishing up what you normally would and then put about 1/4 cup back. Test it out it worked for me.

    Have fun in Chicago.

  5. Hello fellow Alabama bander blogger! I hate seafood too. I wish I liked fish so that I could incorporate it into my meals because it's supposed to be so good for you, but I've never liked it! I can eat a few shrimp, but after about 4 or 5, I'm like "ehhh,, that was OK, but I won't want that again for a long time"... People always think I'm crazy when I say I don't like seafood...
