Fractured or something else....hmmm???

About 4 years ago the top and side of my foot really, really started to hurt.  I went to the Dr. and they said I had a stress fracture.  I wore the walking boot thing and all was good.  Well, fast forward to now and it is happening again.  My right foot is so painful to walk on.  If I am sitting for a while, say for instance at my desk at work, and I get up I have to walk like a flippin' cripple for 10 minutes until I get used to it.  On Thursday I called an orthopedic office and I have an appt on Monday morning.  I hope they can fix my foot, it hurts like a mother.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

  1. Foot pain is the worst. I hope you figure it out. I used to have heel spurs on just under my arch and the pain was excruciating. There are pain pills that can help in the short term but it took at least a year before I could wear anything but Bhirkenstocks for shoes.

  2. oh I hope they will help you with that, I had a similar problem and afterwards for a long time i wore and ankle support it was a very thin sock like elastic bandage that helps putting less pressure on your foot when you walk. I am sure the doctor will be able to advise you with that

  4. Ugh, I hope it's not a stress fracture again! I was having foot problems a couple weeks ago and went to the Dr. and it thankfully was just a really bad sprain along the side of my foot. Keep us up to date!
